Junyu Lu is an undergraduate from the south of China. Lu graduated from the Beijing Film Academy Modern Creative Media School in 2019. He now lives in Guangdong and studies at the New York Film Academy as a graduate student majoring in photography. Before he came into contact with photography, he studied filmmaking. Film shooting is more about stories and conflicts, and after learning, he found that the essence of the film is life. Yet the best way to document life is through photography. Although he can understand the composition of color and other elements of film shooting, he still thinks cinematography is different from photography. From making to recording this process, he thinks it has different meanings.
Lu can get inspiration from studying all kinds of photography works. He prefers to express my feelings through works so as to be recognized by the audience, which is very important for me because it is a thing to reflect my own value. He prefers to get inspiration in life, he can see a stranger's back story from him. Whenever he finds such a person or thing, he will choose to record it and express himself through others. It can be said that each of my creations is an artistic creation based on his own feelings.
